What’s that? This is the first time I’ve ever made a dish that’s actually not from scratch. This is a recipe I created from a recipe I picked up from an Indian cookbook I got at the library. I think it’s a good recipe for someone new to the kitchen, and I think it’s delicious.

That’s a great, great name. Satya is a Sanskrit term meaning “peace”. The term eva is also used in several Indian languages, but I think it is most commonly associated with the Sanskrit word for happiness, or the process of becoming “happy”.

I have been playing and cooking with this recipe for a couple weeks now and I love it. It is a very simple, traditional recipe made with very few ingredients. You could easily make it every night and have it for breakfast, a snack, or lunch. Its very versatile. You can cook it as a vegetarian or as a meat dish. It can be served with rice or chapatis. It is very easy to make. I am sure you could make it more complicated if you wanted to.

I’ve been using this recipe for about a week now. It’s very simple and I am actually starting to like it. I am not making it in my next version of this blog, because I haven’t mastered the art of cooking meat dishes in the kitchen.
