closed missionary

A missionary, also known as a closed priest, is a priest who is not present with his congregation. He is not in the temple, nor is he visible to others. He is not active in the life of the church. He is a detached observer, not a member of the body of Christ.

The main reason why the open mission is actually a closed one is that it’s the holy place that the missionary is supposed to be. We would like to know what the mission can do for you.

The missionary is the body of Christ, but he is not the only person in our body. The church itself is just as much a mission body as the missionaries. The mission is the work of the body; the missionaries are the missionaries. The mission is what keeps us from being the body itself.
